Answers to common questions
about
our services and telehealth.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is revolutionizing how we access healthcare, but what exactly is it? Simply put, telehealth is the use of technology to deliver healthcare services remotely. Whether through video calls, phone consultations, or messaging platforms, telehealth allows patients to connect with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare providers from the comfort of their homes. It’s ideal for busy individuals, those in rural areas, or anyone seeking quick, convenient care. Common uses include managing chronic conditions, mental health support, and treating minor illnesses like colds or infections. Telehealth is secure, cost-effective, and often covered by insurance. With just a smartphone or computer, you can access quality care without the hassle of waiting rooms or long commutes. Ready to try telehealth? It’s easier than you think!

Preparing for your first telehealth appointment doesn’t have to be stressful. Start by ensuring you have a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone, like a smartphone or laptop. Download any required apps or software in advance and test them to avoid last-minute technical issues. Write down your symptoms, medical history, and any questions you have for the doctor. Have your ID ready, just like an in-person visit. Choose a quiet, well-lit space for your appointment to ensure privacy and clear communication. Dress comfortably and have a pen and paper handy to take notes. Finally, log in a few minutes early to troubleshoot any issues. With these simple steps, your telehealth visit will be smooth and stress-free!

We don’t accept insurance to pay for your visit but we keep our prices low to keep medical care accessible to everyone. In many cases, our prices are lower than your insurance co-pay would have been! If we prescribe you medication to pick up at your local pharmacy you can use your insurance at those locations.

During a visit, we can only provide a note stating the date of visit and the care that was
provided.
